Compaq Presario CQ61-406SA Battery Life

In all the reviews that i have read, they say that the battery life of the machine will be up to six hours and after installing Battery Bar, it says that the full lifetime is 1.47.  Why is this?

 

Also i have deffinately not being getting 6 hours from the battery.

like a cell phone advertising, the unit in standby mode will run 6 hours. in normal use about 1 - 2 hours is normal run time
