Connection via USB

i can't connect my telephones with dv7-3116eo via USB. Somehow my PC doesn't see that i put in an USB-cable?? Can anyone help?

Hi,

 

You should have a CD which comes with the phone and you need that CD to install driver and phone application(s) to your machine before you can plug the phone in. What is your phone ? Do you still keep the CD ? You can go to the phone manufacturer site to download driver.

Well, I have the original CD, and I have re-installed it, but I cannot establish a connection :-(. Maybe it's because I have Windows 7?... My phone is a Samsung SGH-F480.
