DV 3500 Series Backlit Keyboard

I flipped through your guide on installing the backlit keyboard. Very thorough thanks.

My only concern is will this work on my dv6928us?

First time modder here, so I'm excited to know if I'll be able to do this or not.

Hi gtmaster, You should do a quick check to see the ZIF cable for your keyboard on your current model has the same amount of conductive connections as the one in the mod. My zif connector on the motherboard had two extra spots, but when checking my original keyboard cable I saw that those extra spots were just plastic space, and not holding any conductors for a connection. Thus I just moved the new cable over two conductor spaces in the slot(on the motherboard) and connected it. Taking out the current keyboard should be relatively easy, just watch out for the power cable ZIF connectors, and don't ever use excessive force. Awesome!! I was just thinking my keyboard on this 6700 is way too hard to see. 

Where can I buy this lit keyboard and what do I need to know in addition to the regular instrucitons on changing the KB?
