About a month ago i tried to turn on my Hp pavillion Dv2000 and the computer itself turned on but not the screen. I plugged it into an external moniter and nothing. My warranty is out and guess what? Ive had this exact problem before. I sent it into HP and they "fixed" it about a year ago. And now again? I question the quality of HP products but this is ridiculous. Last time i sent it in through circuit city but since theyre out of buisiness im gonna have to do it myself. Any email address or phone number i can contact for them to send me a box? Will this cost anything? I mean it is THEIR fault so they should fix it for free right?

No, they won't fix it free outside of warranty. They usually charge $299 to replace the motherboard. It is actually caused by break down of the solder holding the graphics chip in place on the motherboard. Many opt for a less expensive procedure of reflowing the chip.
$69 for Nvidia GPU Repair
