Flashing Caps and Num Lock indicators

I have a 6530b and when I start up the machine all that happens is that the Caps and Num Lock indicators flash 5 times (about once a second).

Can anyone help me please?

I had installed new 512 Mb memory card into 6730b and then it began flushing when I turned on it.

Worked fine last night now it is all messed up black screen and blinking caplocks and scroll

I have same problem with my HP Touchsmart tx2 1000   they said it's motherboard problem

i thought that was the memory but i recently replaced the memory but no luck

so i am searching for the motherboard for my laptop,,, it's freaking expensiveeeee

I had a non-bootable HP Mini 110-3000 (Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N455 @ 1.66Ghz/Windows 7 Ultimate X86) with a caps-lock blinking twice. According to experts it was BIOS corruption failure and advised me to update BIOS. So, I flashed to updated BIOS : Hewlett-Packard F.15 on 14/01/2001. It worked successfully. My lappy being fine for two days. But, today it happened again. I tried to a hard reset by pressing ON/OFF switch for 75 seconds. It works. I wonder if any other solution to this matter. I don't want to have the same problem again as I' working with this lappy as a DJ. Please help me.

I have just updated the BIOS and the result is giving flashing caps-lock and num-lock.

I went to the BIOS seting and reset it back to factory setting.

And result, it works OK.
