GOT A CQ61-310SA THAT WON'T POWER ON WITH THE AC ADAPTER

REALLY CAN'T GET MY HEAD AROUND THIS NOTEBOOK SOMETIMES IT POWERS ON AND SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T IT'S DRIVING ME MAD.IF YOU DISIPATE THE POWER IN THE LAPTOP IT WILL COME ON BUT JUST LATELY THAT DOESN'T SEEM TO BE WORKING EITHER SO I CAN'T GET THE **bleep** THING ON IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN SHED A BIT OF LIGHT ON THIS.

Possible causes

 

Bad:

 

1. AC adapter

 

2. Battery

 

3. DC jack on the notebook

 

4. Faulty Motherboard
