i have a compaq 6710s notebook...and i always use it plugged in with the charger.
My laptop is 3 y.o.
Last night, while on AC power, i got a message saying the battery needed to be charged. It kept saying that for like 20 minutes, then the screen went black (power saving feature) while the laptop was still on, but i couldn't turn it back on, so i turned the laptop off by pressing the power button. When i tried to turn it back on it didn't; i left it on AC power over night. Still doesn't turn on.
Is it the charger? the battery? or even worse, the laptop?
Please help! Thanks.
