HP 2000-369WM Notebook does not always start up

Bought this laptop a few months ago, and it has always had trouble starting up. when you go to start it up, most of the time it says that it was unable to start, and has me use recovery. as this computer is new, i do not know why it doesn't start up as it should. any advice/support would be greatly apperciated.

Re: HP 2000-369WM Notebook does not always start up

Hi,

Shut down the notebook.  Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to enter the Start-up Menu.  Select the Bios option ( usually f10 ) and under the Advanced or Diagnostic tab you should find the facility to run tests on both the Hard Drive and Memory.  Post back with the details of any error messages.

Regards,

Re: HP 2000-369WM Notebook does not always start up

I am having this same issue. I've done as you suggested and both the tests passed and found no errors. I initially thought it was a harddrive issue and installed a SSD. Now when you try to start the computer it states Windows Failed to Boot... After going through this process three-four times and choosing "Start Windows Normally" the computer will finally load properly.

Thanks in advance for any help.
