HP Pavilion dv6408nr notebook, Windows Vista
Error message appears when I try to launch HP Health Check: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click OK to terminate the application."
I updated my Avast antivirus after I first saw this error and attempted to restart my computer, but the error still appears. Also, the last 2 times I have tried to start my computer it has frozen up before the HP health center has even opened. I am wondering, how might I be able to fix this problem and/or could this be an indication that there is a more serious problem with my computer?

Hi,
Uninstall that program from system and your life will become much easier.
There is no benefit of using this software.

Thanks for the reply! Is there some software I should replace it with, or do I just not need anything like this? What is the point in having it?
