HP Mini 110-355 problem after installing win xp

hi every1!

hope someone could help me soon.....

i have hp mini 110-3500 win 7 (included os) i have a mini internet shop

i was able to install win xp (through usb flash drive) on my loptop since some of my software needed wont work on win 7,

but the problems are,

(1). usb optical mouse wont work! it says "unable to install, device is dsabled" it keeps on saying this even after enabling the said device on device manager and on device manager, under HID Class there's a unknown device:

and: (2). my wifi and and bluetooth is also not working ( both are in the same switch)

i have downloaded and installed all necessary drivers form net but only this two are not working.

Hi:

Do you see your wireless card and bluetooth radio in the device manager?

If not, you may first need to install the Wireless Assistant software.

If you do see your wireless card and it is labeled as a network controller or ethernet controller with a yellow ? mark, that means you don't have the right drivers installed for it.

In order to determine the correct driver, please click on any devices with ? marks in the device manager.

Then click on the details tab.

Post the top string of characters you see for each device.

Those will identify the type and model of the device and I can try and find the drivers you need.

sir paul,

i see "network adapters" under it there's " broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n #2......... and

REALTEC PCIe FE Family controller" it doesn't have mark.

bout the mouse, on the device manager under HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICE, i see unkown device with a yellow mark and a ! in it, it appears only if i connect the usb mouse, but it disappaer when i remove the mouse.

Please see if the chipset driver helps with that unknown device.

I don't know why your network adapters aren't working if you have the drivers installed for them.

Try the lastest network adapter driver for XP...

clap clap clap!! my wifi and bluetooth are now working!!! thank u so mch....

now we only hve to figure out the mouse, the chipset driver from the link provided did'nt realy help, its still the same.

when i connect and install the usb mouse the wizard says:

"there was a problem installing this hardware:

HIDClass

an error occure during the installation of the device

the driver installation fornthis device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF is written for windows95 or later. conyacy your hardware vendor."

You're very welcome.

You may have a device that is not compatible with XP.

But let's see what we can find.

Click on the USB device when it is connected and has the ? mark.

Then click on the details tab.

Post the hardware ID that you see and I will see if there is an XP driver for it.

Without a hardware ID, there isn't much I can do.

I need to know the manufacturer and model of the device and that is normally what that hardware code provides.

Hi:

Sorry but I can't find the driver for the device. I comes up as a component of an Averatec 5500 notebook.

If you have the manufacturer and model number of your USB mouse, perhaps you can check their website for an XP driver for it.

im using the same brand of mouse on my desktop pc, and a laptop w/c has a xp os. i realy dnt understand y this won't work on my hp netbook........

but anyway thank u so mch!!! getting my wifi and bluetooth working is such a great great great great great!!!! help already.

maybe i'll just make myself comfortable with the touch pad, even if it gve me a hard time with my work and software......

...or you can get a new wireless mouse for your notebook that has the driver disk for XP.
