HP Notebook Warranty/Care Pack's

I really think these HP Care Pack's are a con.

My warranty expired in June but a few weeks prior to that I tried to buy an "extension" using the reminder notification on my notebook but it wouldn't work. So I bought a 2 year Care Pack off the HP website direct only to later discover that this registers from the purchase date my notebook.

So  2 years was in fact 1 year and I suppose the similarly a 3 year care pack would be 2 years. Confused?

After an abundance of emails and phone calls I was granted a refund. Why anyone would want to buy a product that backdates is ludicrous.

I was really disappointed about this. I never wanted my money back, I just wanted to extend my warranty!

I don't want to have to pay for something I never actually got any use of. What is also ridiculous is that within that first year a Care Pack and the Base Warranty  provide exactly the same service to the customer.

Call me picky but isn't that a little contradictory?

Anyway, I am now without product cover sadly and unable to purchase any of the HP Care Packs. They are marketed in an unclear and misleading way and are anything but logical.

Who can I send my letter of complaint to?

Please use plain text.
