Re: HP Pavilion G6 PCI Driver needed. Help?

Hi Mehrxx,

I would be happy to help, but that product number did not show me anything.

You follow this link for assistance on your model number and current operating system. There is a Detect my Product on this link.

http://www8.hp.com/us/en/drivers.html

In Windows, press the fn + esc keys on the notebook’s keyboard to open the HP System Information window.

Please let me know.

Thanks

Hi Mehrxx,

Thank you for all the information. Here are your drivers for your computer.

Download and install each one. The Device Manager will pick it up and the error disappear.

Re: HP Pavilion G6 PCI Driver needed. Help?

Hi,

The third link will not install properly. It installs the setup , but then doesnt go any further with the complete installation saying 'Bleutooth hardware must be switched on to run this setup package'. The bleutooth on my laptop is always on. So I am not sure what it means with that.

The other links have installed successfully.

Thank you.

Re: HP Pavilion G6 PCI Driver needed. Help?

Hi Mehrxx,

I would download and run the Hp Support Assistant, it will check the hardware and drivers. Here is a link to this.

http://h18021.www1.hp.com/helpandsupport/hp-self-support.html

Here is a link to check the Bluetooth enabled device on your computer from Microsoft.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Add-a-Bluetooth-enabled-device-to-your-computer

If that does not help I would recommend a system restore to when was the last known good configuration.

Windows 7 here

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&dlc=en&docname=c01835735&lc=en&product=5182534&tmp...

Windows 8 here

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03327545&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_r1002_us...

Hope that helps.

Thanks
