HP Pavilion G62-a19SO crashes during gameplay

Hi there

 

Has anyone experienced G62-a19SO crashing after just 5-6 minutes of playing? The game most of played is Tour de France 2010 or 2011. Crash happens both when the computer is running only on battery and when it is charging/connected.

Any idea what's wrong - and perhaps how to fix it?

 

 

Specs:

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition

Core i3 350M, chipset Mobile Intel HM55 Express

4 GB DDR3 SDRAM

320 GB HDD - 7200 rpm

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 (512 MB)

Sorry to say, the specs of the machine is NOT a games machine.

Hi BH

 

I'm aware of that, but  Tour de France is not the most demanding game - also it is not impossible to play games on a non-gaming machine. And the machine certainly shouldn't crash.

this is due to overheating

all you have to do is buy a cooling pad
