HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, Number QJ789AAR.
Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit
I´m having a problem with this product. When I unplugged the energy cable and keep on working with the battery, the machine freezes and there´s no way I could get an answer from it. I have to restart by switching it off. I´d like a solution for this, please.

Hi
You have a couple of options as I see it please try steps might help you to resolve your issue.
Go to HP Website and update the Bios, Graphic & Chipset driver & check if the unit works fine.
Calibrating the Notebook Battery
Let us know how it goes!

Hi there, Manjunath
Thanks for your answer.
I run the HP support assistant and some problems were apparently solved.
Then I was in Step8 of the "Calibrating the Notebook Battery while PC is in use", and the screen went blue. It said something like "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE". Had to restart and I´m once again waiting for the battery to go to the 0%. At least the machine didn´t freeze this time!
I guess something better could be done, doesn´t it?
Regards.
