yea i have the same problem...was looking for videos or info about it because i was not sure is it suppose to be working all the time (the scroll glow on every picture of the mouse i saw) but didnt find anything 
( pls help i want to know do i need to go and change it with new one or it is suppose to be like that (dont have much time bought it like 3 week ago)
