Alright, so I left my laptop to go to the kitchen and when I came back, I noticed that the laptop turned off. So I tried powering it on, after pressing the power button, it wouldn't turn on and the power led light would blink 3 times everytime the power button was pressed. I tried removing the battery is turning it on with charger plugged in only, but it still wouldn't work. Is this a battery issue or what? I'm using my desktop atm, I'd like to know if I can fix this.

Hi:
You could try performing a hard reset of the notebook.
It probably isn't the battery if you removed it and only started it with the A/C power connected. I have seen where a battery is so bad a notebook will not boot up with the battery installed but if you remove it then the notebook starts. That is then a symptom of a bad battery.
Could be that a memory module went bad based on the 3 blink codes. Check this document out. If you have 2 memory modules, try removing one, and then the other, to see if the notebook fires up. If it does, there is your culprit.

Laptop is working again. I tried hard reset and it didn't work since my A/C adapter wasn't working, but it's working now. I think it was an overheating problem.
I had encounter a recent problem where my ac adapter had stopped working, due to it overheating or something. I was going to purchase a new one since I didnt know what had happened. So I let it cooldown for like 4 hours. I plugged in the A/C adapter and it started working.
