Had to do a restore, now get insesent pop-up wanting me to Register

Had to do a restore, registered my computer again, but continue to get pop-up wanting me to Register. I can choose Register Now, (which I did,) Remind me Later, and Do Not Remind Me anymore (which does nothing when checked.)

Any suggestions on how to stop this from popping up would be appreciated.

Tks

Re: Had to do a restore, now get insesent pop-up wanting me to Register

Hi Tim,

The pop up is usually run as a scheduled task, so open windows Control Panel, open Administrative Tools and open Task Scheduler.  Left click once on Task Scheduler Library to highlight it and look for an entry called 'Webreg'.  Left click this once to highlight it, then right click and select Disable.  Restart the notebook for the change to take effect.

Excellent. Did as suggested and was able to Disable the reminder.

Thanks a million!

Hi Tim,

As you know which scheduled task this is, you can right click and delete it entirely if you wish :smileyhappy:

All the best,
