How did set the touch to disable when a external mouse is connected

I have a Probook 6560b with the Symantiecs LuxPad & Buttons V7.5.  I have updated the driver to the latest version (15.3.25).  I have not been able to disable the touch pad a buttons when an esternal mouse is connected.  Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.  THank you.

Hi,

Uninstall your current driver for Synaptics touchpad and restart system.

Resource:
Uninstalling Software in Windows 7

Uninstall or change a program in Windows 7

Download and install this driver and restart system.

Click ' StartStart.png button. In search box write ' mouse ' and choose ' Mouse ' from the list.

Select ' Device Settings ' tab and check ' Disable pointing device when external USB pointing device is attached ', then ' Apply ' and ' Ok '.

I'm sure you'll love the way it will work for you now.
