We bought HP Pavilion g7-1227nr Refurbished Notebook PC - Intel Core i3-370M 2.40GHz, 4GB DDR3, 750GB HDD, Blu-ray Player, 17.3" Display, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Item#: M975-173102 | Model#: RB-A5G06UAR#ABA
from TigerDirect.com. It did not come on its original box, just the regular brown box and we did not see the UPC bar code. Now, we need the UPC bar code for us to get $75 rebate. We called TigerDirect for this but they told us to contact HP. I called HP customer service but was having a hard time dealing with a foreigner call center agent not to mention the lag time and static noise on the phone. Is it possible to request for a copy of the UPC bar code via email to get our $75 rebate?
Any input is appreciated.

I would ask for a refund from Tiger Direct, they are responsible to provide you with the UPC.
TG is making excuses, ask for a full refund. If they refuse and you paid by credit card, contact your CC company and dispute the charge. This will force TG to resolve your issue one way or another.
