I have an HP Pavilion ze5700 CTO Notebook. How do I update the BIOS? How do I know if I have the most up-to-date-version? Is it necessary to update the BIOS?

Check your model in support and drivers; usually you can see what the Bios update is for.
Normally I wouldn't update Bios unless HP insists you update to fix some problem--and you're suffering from it.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Good Luck!

Thank you. It was just a curiosity I had. I will not update the BIOS then because it's not needed. I just thought that everything else usually needs to be updated that I would have to update the BIOS as well. Now I know it's not needed. Thank you again.
