How to resume from sleep mode

Mine is a hp 630 notebook. I do not understand how to resume it from sleep mode.

According to your user manual it should work. Is it under warranty?

I read it in manual and tried but all in vain and yes it's in warranty. So do you think I should refer to technical help???

Hi,  I have a user with this exact problem too, same model HP 630. 

 

I'd be curious to know if you got a response from HP
