I have an HP Pavilion dv6700 laptop. I replaced the motherboard. The old motherboard BIOS was version F.30 and the new motherboard has version F.34. The old motherboard was setup with CPU Fan auto-speed. The new motherboard is set to a fixed fan speed. How can I change the fan setting on the new motherboard? Using 'F10', 'F2' or delete keys at bootup gets me into the BIOS configuration page, but no Fan setting options. SpeedFan software didn't work. Is my only option to install BIOS F.30? And, if so, where can I find F.30 and is there a installation utiltiy software I need to use?? Frustrated.

If you do not have the setting of the fan speed in F.34, we cannot get the option. Mostly, it might be managing the fan speed automatically. However, if you want to downgrade to F.30, here are the links from where you can download the BIOS F.30 version:
