Hi , Im a 17 yr old girl with laptop problems
My laptop is fairly new i think under six months old and had been working perfectly but i cant explain it but here is how it started .
First the lapto began to overheat my mistake because it was on my lap with out the protective thingy to prevent overheating. It was literally burning my lap but i was doing homework so ididnt stop to cool down the laptop.
I think my sister must have tripped over the power cord so then the battery was like real low at 6% even while it was charging so it suddenly shut down.
I tried to set it up again with the Ac adapter but its just been beeping at first reaally loud beeps like i thought there was a bomb in the house then it got low.
Now the laptop wont turn on when i press the on button , it wont start but the power light flashes indicating its low. but the adapter just keeps beeping .
Im wondering will i have to buy a new one or will my Laptop insurance from Pc world Uk cover it or will Hp warranty.
I dont have a lot of money to spend on a spare as i am a student and my dad will kill me if he thinks i broken the laptop .
Pleasse help
Thanks sincerly
Jamima

my adapter overheats without the battery and with the battery...it gets too hot to handle and you can even smell the plastic....the laptop is only a few months old...it seems to get much worse when i watch movies... the left hand side of the laptop .,where ones hand rests, next to the mouse pad also becomes extremely hot even with a coolong pad....any suggestions would be appreciated.
