Hp compaq presario v6500/ V6642EM

My laptop will not power up at all, no noises/bleeps fans or lights when i click the power buttoon. There is just the light for the jack port comes on showing that power is being recived. I have tried with and without the battery and tried different power adaptor. Please tell me what is the problem how will i find out which part is faulty.

Try a hard reset, works sometimes.Disconnect all external devices first.

1-remove power cord and battery

2-press power button for 30 seconds

3-reinstall only power cord for first startup.

4-power on
