I have an HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook P, model number A6X08UA#ABA. How do I turn on the webcam?

I bought this computer in March because I was shipping out to South Korea and I needed a computer to skype with friends and family. I installed Skype but it cannot connect to the webcam. A friend told me to use the Youcam software that came with the computer to see if I could take a picture, and I cannot. I am assuming that the webcam is not turned on, but I don't know how to turn it on. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Have you looked in the Device Manager to see if it is installed and has drivers?

Install the webcam software from the recovery manager.

Select the Truevision HD webcam driver software and then click on next.
