In 2004 I purchased 3 pavilion laptops (forget the model/product number) all the same model.
within one year each one went to blue screen, I did purchase extended warranty and completed all steps to
register them.
when I called HP Support they had no record of my warranty or serial number. quite frustrating.
since myself and my daughters needed them for work/school I went to IBM thinkpads and its been joyous ever since.
