My keyboard has picked up some mapping from a game probably. When I type a T it jumps back a few lines. Other letters are also doing weird stuff. How do I revert back to default?

There might be a program in the startup that is overriding the default keyboard functionality. Refer the following weblink on removing the programs from Startup:
