I have an HP Pavilion dm4-1160us. The opertating system is Windows 7. My laptop keeps overheating and I have blown the dust out but it still has the problem.

I have this problem too, though I haven't opened the laptop yet. Mine is dm4 1160eo and I'm running windows 7. It mainly burns down during games, though it has begun doing so even in low graphic flash-games like peggle (if you know it). I stoped playing Heroes of Newerth after one year of playing it on this laptop, because it began burning down after 5-10 minutes of play, every time. Now, I can sometimes play Diablo for hours without problem, other times I can play for 15 minutes.
I have updated my video drivers often and even formatted the computer twice to try and relieve the problem.
I think I know why, though. Sems like HP has inferior cooling design: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AJSowGYoLc&feature
I don't know what you can do about this, but I consider sending the computer your way, since it is only a little over a year old. Are there something a little less troublesome that might solve my problem without breaking the warrenty?
Also, feedback from a costumor: please don't make computers that overheat this easily in the future - this is definitly a dealbreaker to me, as I would think it is to others. I hear many talk about the easily overheated nature of HP pcs. This is probably not something you want to maintain.
