Hi,
I can't see why it wouldn't download - try the direct link below.

Mine said that it needs to calibrate, I will try and see if that works for me.
The computer shuts down when on battery after 20 minutes and I plug in and turn on and it says I am 93% full, but if I unplug it turns off instantly.

You ever get a new battery?
I tried the calibration and it makes no difference.
Battery only lasts 20 minutes.
edit: 16 minutes
At 8:55pm windows says I have 1:51 of battery left.
At 9:07pm it says I have 1:19 left.
By 9:11pm my computer was dead, screen black, lights out. After a little over ten minutes the battery life is over 30 minutes less and after another 4 minutes the computer is dead. It was on all of 16 minutes.
I am going to bite the bullet and get a new battery that comes with a warranty.

Not yet since I don't have the money for it.
Right now, I'm just using my old battery and just having it plugged in when I'm using it.
I doubt Battery Check is even a reliable tool. It told me my long time messed up battery juist needed to be calibrated. It then shut off at 70% since the battery is so terrible. Can't calibrate if it turns off prematurely.
I just came to the conclusion that HP sell defective products and I'll never buy their **bleep** again.

I have tried every single thing on this thread and no luck. My laptop still randomly shuts off with now low battery warning. just now did it at 25% I have the setting so it's supposed to tell me when it's at 10%. the thing clicks off before it even gets there. I have a pavillion dv5. I've been to multiple threads with still no solutions. I've done everything I can find to fix this and none of it has worked.
