Sounds like a software issue. Some form of update, or notice sound?
CD/DVD drivers reupdateing, and fails, so it does it again??
Can you post a screen shot of this?....
OK, so try this:
>Uninstall the CD/DVD driver from the 'DEVICE MANAGER'
>REBOOT
The driver should reinstall after the reboot.
Check the cd/dvd unit in all its functions, including burning a disk.
