My HP DV6 will connect to internet but no programs will run.

My HP DV6 with a solid state hard drive with windows 7 will get on the internet but none of my other programs will work. It was slowing down before this happened, ran virus program showed no virus, Just started yesterday. I ran the driver disk that came with the machine just before all this happened. It was still running after running the driver disk until I turned it off and came back to turn it on. That's when the probs started. Any suggestions?

Use HP Support Assistant Software to check for driver updates, and install them.

 

Did it shutdown unexpectedly while you were running the driver disc?
