Re: My HP Probook 450 lapop keyboard some keys no workin.

Hi,

This may well be a hardware issue, however it's always worth trying the following.

Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.  Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds.  Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter.

Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f9, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.  Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.

If the above fails to correct the issue and as your notebook is still under warranty, my best advice would be tocontact HP Business Support and arrange for repair

 .

If you live in the US, contact HP Here.

If you are in another part of the world, start Here.

Best regards,

Re: My HP Probook 450 lapop keyboard some keys no workin.

Hi, and thanks for your reply. I am going to try it right now.

But I deleted keyboard driver, than PC suggested me to restart my laptop. After I did it my keyboard worked fine. But then when I shut down and turn it on again my keys ( t and g) are not working again. But If i repetedl uninstall that keyboard driver it works fine again utnill another reboot. So i think it is not keboard fault but raher driver fault.

Re: My HP Probook 450 lapop keyboard some keys no workin.

Hi.

this morning my HP Probook 450 keyboard sopped working properly again. I have the same issue - my keyboard buttons ( t and g) aren't working. I tried thoes settins HP assistant gave me the firstime and they didn't help.

Should I contact HP repair? Because it worked for 14 days after I did reset my BIOS.
