I have HP Pavilion dv4-1241tx Entertainment . I recently updated from vista to windows 7. Now when i use it for an hour. after that it gets hibernated on its own. and then i switch it on and then it gets hibernated again and again till it gets cooler. It gets extremely hot at that time so i don't know what to do. I need an immediate action. I have to keep it like that for an hour then i can use it again..Thank You

if its gettingg hot and enter hibernate, it must be a thermal shutdown to prevent any damages to computer parts.
You may want to consider getting the heatsink cleaned as mentioned below.
also make sure you have all the latest drivers from hp.com for your current OS. if there are no drivers, there is a risk of components not working normal and cause heat or other issues.

go to "DOwnload Softwares and Drivers from hp.com" part in the document.
hope it helps
