PRODUCT KEY CODE

MY COMPUTER WILL NOT TAKE THE PRODUCT KEY CODE. PLEASE HELP! ! !

Without knowing a little bit more about your environment it will be hard to answer this question.

 

Where did you get the product key from and what media was used to install the computer as you have to use the correct media and keys together.

 

What error message are you getting?

What version of Office is on the laptop and what key do you have?

It has office 2007 and she got the key from the certificate of authenticity on the bottom of the laptop.

It clearly states on the CoA label beneath your notebook that it is meant for Microsoft Windows and not Microsoft Office.

You'll need to purchase Microsoft Office and then use the key from the full version, or you'll need to activate the 60-day/25-use free trial that comes with the notebook.

Boyfriend got a new laptop with windows 7 for Christmas, gets message that he needs to enter 25 digit product key. Its on bottom, but it will except the code.  What's going on. is there something that we have missed. Getting to be a pain. Can anyone help.

If he is trying to activate Office please refer to Kalt's post above.  There should be no need to activate an OEM version of Windows.

THE GUY AT THE STORE TOLD ME WHAT HE THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN IT SAYS INVALID CODE. ON INSTALLATION IT SAY IT IS THE EMAIL ADDRESS BUT THAT ISN'T WORKING EITHER
