Hi there
I have recently purchased the above model notebook and after getting it set up perfectly I wish to make an image using Ghost. This requires using a boot CD to save to an external hard drive.
The notebook recognises the drive and comes up with the menu...
1. Boot from Hard Drive
2. Boot from CD
Please select option:
It will allow me to use the arrow to select "2", however, when ENTER or either of 2's is pressed it just loops back to the menu.
This is so frustrating. I know the disk works as I have used it on my desktop PC and tested it on a friends Acer laptop.
Is there a security settling in config that I have missed????
Any advice gratefully received.
Regards, annecf62

try setting the boot options in bios
Configuring the Boot Order in the System BIOS
