After 35 minutes on the phone with "Jason" from New Delhi ("...that's "S" as in Frank, is that correct sir?...") he tells me my AC adaptor for my laptop is out of warranty and cost $70 to replace. Please. The thing probably costs $2.50 to make. I told him to forget it and bought one on Ebay for $8.99 including shipping.
HP will probably tell you that other adaptors aren't Genuine HP Parts! Oh no!I bet they're all made in the same factory and besides, if it didn't work well I could buy six more and still save money.

I don't believe what I'm reading. You're saying that HP wants me to buy a new computer when the AC adaptor breaks?!!
So that's why they charge so much?! that's like saying you should buy a new car every 3,000 miles instead of changing the oil.
If anything, it will be an incentive to never buy an HP product. Ultimately, HP loses much more than it can hope to gain with a business model like this.

P.S. Dear shills: Please pay more attention to spelling and punctuation.
