Got a [ HP 2000-2b29NR ] and I cannot figure out the correct driver for:

SM Bus Controller

PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B&SUBSYS_188B103C&REV_14
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B&SUBSYS_188B103C
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B&CC_0C0500
PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_780B&CC_0C05

Installed Win7 Ultimate 64bit, thats when this problem appeared.

I've searched the forum and have tried various fixes to no avail.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi,

Try downloading and installing the AMD Chipset Driver package on the following link.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows%207

When the installation has completed, restart the notebook.

Thanks a lot for the assistance David, the solution worked like a charm.

I had it pegged as an ATI chipset, VIA DxDiag.

Thanks again for the speedy reply & solution!
