Re: SYSTEM TEMPERATURE 90D

i've check on the software n driver update, n yes! I found BIOS update. But, the BIOS update is running on win 7.

I've try to run that BIOS update (winflash), but the operation can't be done.

What about my notebook that running ubuntu?

Is there any solution, update my notebook BIOS without installing Win OS or update BIOS under linux OS?

Thanks

Re: SYSTEM TEMPERATURE 90D

High temp, and loud fan could be caused by a need for cleaning of the vents. Use compressed air to blow out the main vents, and any small vent holes you may find on the bottom of your computer. When you use canned air please make sure that you do not tip the can upside down, that will cause liquid air to come out which is wasteful, and doesn't help the cleaning, while the condensation that it could cause could harm your computer. Canned air can be gotten from the electronics department of most major stores that carry computer related items.
