See Videos DV9000 Tracking History Issues, Damages, Repairs & Support

After hearing so many customer & support personnel tell discussions were not documented even when I provided a case number, order number or any other number decided to Track History on-line in hopes of minimizing the disappointment and abuse I've been encountering.

Repair Center "New" Issues & Physical Damages Tracking History to my DV9000. New major issues & damages on last repair 12/31/08.

Re: See Videos DV9000 Tracking History Issues, Damages, Repairs & Support

Saw some of your video and I had the same issue. Sent in DV9000 for warranty repair recently and came back with plastics damage AND the LCD cracked. To make matters worse, when I sent it back in, the 3rd party contract repair site held my laptop for payment because the damage appeared to be "abuse" and not under warranty. No kidding. It was abused by their lack of QC. Now I did get this issue escalated and fixed by HP techs. I had to do without my laptop for about 45 days before we got it resloved though. Someone at HP needs to have a a long heart to heart with their contract repair provider. I would bet that the company has changed in the last few years as I had another Pavilion repaired a few years ago and had great support and work from the 3rd party provider (they called me directly, fixed all problems with the laptop and sent back in excellent shape).
