How do I go about disabling my touch pad? The primary and secondary buttons would be nice to disable but the mouse pad is a must. I'm handicapped and if I could disable all three I would be very appreciative. I have a G72.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you would like to disable the (2) mouse buttons and the Touchpad?
If so, there should be a button near the Touchpad to disable it.
What exact model of the G72 do you have?

Touching the light on the upper left corner of touchpad does not turn it off.
