I have a new HP Probook 4525S and my touch pad suddenly stopped working as a yellow light in the upper left hand corner is showing. Please let me know how I can fix this problem.

That should enable the touchpad.

If anyone else is having this problem try going into the control panal either using the keyboard or a usb mouse. Going into the properties for the mouse then device settings tab on the top then select your touchpad and click enable. I hope this helps anyone having this issue.

I googled because my touchpad had the light on the upper left side of the touch pad. If I double tap that light, then my touch pad won't work. If the light is on, then my pad works.
I've had similar problems with the touch pad suddenly not working. I agree with the other poster, use a USB mouse or what I've done in the past is just restart the computer. Good luck!
