Touchpad will not work on my HP Probook 4525s, the yellow light in the left hand corner is on?

I have a new HP Probook 4525S and my touch pad suddenly stopped working as a yellow light in the upper left hand corner is showing.  Please let me know how I can fix this problem.

double tap the yellow led in the upper left hand corner of the touchpad. The yellow led is an off status indicator
That should enable the touchpad.

Best regards,

If anyone else is having this problem try going into the control panal either using the keyboard or a usb mouse. Going into the properties for the mouse then device settings tab on the top then select your touchpad and click enable. I hope this helps anyone having this issue.

Re: Touchpad will not work on my HP Probook 4525s, the yellow light in the left hand corner is on?

I googled because my touchpad had the light on the upper left side of the touch pad. If I double tap that light, then my touch pad won't work. If the light is on, then my pad works.

I've had similar problems with the touch pad suddenly not working. I agree with the other poster, use a USB mouse or what I've done in the past is just restart the computer. Good luck!
