Hi MPH,
Welcome to the forum!
According to one source, this is the old HP Image Zone software (replaced by Photosmart Creations) used for Photo Editng.
Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Right-Click HP Image Zone xxx
IF this is the cause of your error messages,
then Options may include:
Option 1:
Try to CHANGE, that is, to try and Repair the installtion:
This may work if the installation is the cause of the messages AND if the installation can be repaired by the computer.
Option 2:
REMOVE the software:
BE AWARE that you cannot any longer download the Image Zone software from HP. It is long out of "print" so-to-speak. The Photo Creations replacement software (from comments I've read in the past) are less beloved by fans of the 'Zone.
You might certainly find Photo editing software for purchase that you like better, and Photo Creations photo software might be just fine for your use. I've never used it and I've never used the HP Image Zone software. (I buy my photo editing software due to feature requirements.)
Make sure you have the ability to recover your Image Zone software should you decide to remove it.

Thanks, Dragon-Fur.
To clarify, HP Photo Creations is not a direct replacement for Image Zone, which offered photo utilities and basic printing. HP Photo Creations is designed to help you make creative projects with your photos, such as greeting cards, calendars, photo books, and mugs. Depending on the type of project, you can print at home, order for home delivery, or pick up at a local store.
Here's an example photo book; we have more examples in our Facebook gallery. (You don't need to be a Facebook member to see them.)
Hope this helps,
RocketLife

RocketLife,
Thank you for the update!
I think Photo Creations is useful for the home crafts person - it is obviously more than just a "print shop" photo editing package.
I think perhaps the comments I've read in the past about the Zone were from the "die hards" - folks a little like the group who says, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" I admit that I have some favorite old programs that fall into that category - not many, but a few old pieces of code of which I am inordinately fond. I wax protective of the virtues and forget their faults when faced with threat of their demise.
Times change and so the needs of the customers.
Thanks for showing us what Photo Creations can do. ![]()
