Wipe clean Hard Drive

I was told by Best Buy, that I had very little hard drive space left, and there advice was to wipe clean my hard drive and save documents, music and pictures.  I downloaded the Recovery disc to 8 CD's, and I put the documents, etc. on discs too.  the thing is where do I get the program to wipe the hard drive, and is there something I need to know about this process.  I have windows Vista.

Re: Wipe clean Hard Drive

If you have created the Recovery discs, you can run a Recovery to reimage the unit back to the original factory settings.

Once your done with this, you can put back the data that you consider useful onto the unit.

You can follow the document Recover Windows Vista Operating System Using HP Recovery
