Hi!
I have hp compaq 6715b with 90w adapter, now adapter is broken, and I want to buy a new one.
So my question is - Can I buy ac smart 65w adapter, can it cause any damage to my computer?
Maybe 90w adapter is better.
Thanks!

Buy another 90W adapter.
65W won't cause damage. If anything happens it will be that it won't provide power to run the laptop.

65 watts will not be enough. Buy an adaper from anyone but HP. My second 90w Smart AC adapter just quit working in about 7 months and according to their support, HP has no warranty department. I am still trying to find out how to get both of the ones I have fixed. They are both making a cliking sound.
