computer wont turn on

My HP light on the front of the computer keeps blinking as well as my wifi light n my power button light. I removed the battery when I couldn't get it to turn and the moment I replaced the battery the lights returned to blinking.... someone please help me... my laptop was working moments before this I shut it then this happened...

Hi Badangl,

Try a hard reset

Remove the battery and unplug the DC power adapter.

Press and hold the power button for more than fifteen seconds and release it..
Plug in the DC power adapter (leave the battery out for now)
Press the power button

So I can replace the battery now?

Use the HP Support Assistant. Go to theTroubleshoot section and do a Battery check.

The battery check will let you know what the current condition of the battery is and recommend replacement if needed.

My HP still won't come on.  I took the battery out, unplugged it, and held the power button down for about 20 seconds before I plugged it back in.  When I push the power button, the lights come on and I can hear the DVD running for a few seconds but no fan or anything else.  Then the lights go off and it starts over.  Ugh!!!!!!!!

Hi there... I tried the remove battery, press power botton etc, etc, but it didn't work.  Is there something else I can do?
