dv7-1127cl Quicklaunch buttons just stopped working

My quicklaunch buttons at the top of my keyboard area worked fine until a few days ago.

These buttons include Quickplay Button, Mute, Volume control, Previous track, Pause/Play, Next Track, Stop, and Wifi On/Off.

 

I am on windows 7 ultimate.

I have already installed the driver for it (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=US&swItem=ob-757...)
