Got the same problem here using W7 32-bit OS.. I've been battling it out for almost 3days now.. Tried almost all of the several tips, tricks and suggestions but nothing worked.. My last resort is to download the earlier versions of itunes @ filehippo.com. I know that this is not an HP fault. But if you find a way to fix this, please post your actions for me to follow soon.. As for the HP guys, im not a tech person but i sure do know how to follow instructions.. Need your help a lot guys.. Thanks
Windows 7 32 bit install of home premium. iTunes will not install. The installation freezes at Publishing product information, gives this error message:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,version="8.0.50727.4053",type=
stays frozen and eventually claims iTunes was installed correctly. Opening iTunes produces an error stating that Apple application support is not installed (Apple application support/Apple mobile device support are not on the computer). (Bonjour, Quicktime, and Apple software update are there).
