I purchased new notebook 2000-412NR. I have a perfectly good printer which is apparently too old to work on this notebook. Is there anything I can do? It is a HP inkjet 722 series. Need printer.

@velenoso why don't u tell him to get rid of his relic printer?
Because it's just a printer and the difference between an good old printer and a new printer would be indistinguishable, there is a vast difference between a good old laptop and a new one, most program you use today without a thought (google earth or movie converting or editing) would run 10 times slower,
If you or anyone else for that manner believes that spending good money on a laptop which must be 6 or 7 years old is a good idea,
IN COMPUTING HOW LONG IT TAKE TO PERFORM TASKS IS EVERY THING!
