how to enable compaq presario cq42 138tu touch pad

Hello. I have a problem with my laptop's touchpad. The TouchPad has a sensor thingy at the top left corner. If I tap on it 3 times, the TouchPad gets disabled. I just don't know how to enable it. I try tapping it again 3 times but it doesn't work. So when my TouchPad gets disabled, I have to put it to sleep mode. Pls help. Thanks.
