how to write 8.5 gb data using hp-DVDRAM-GT30L

Hi

Actually i am using windows 7 with power2go(DVD write Software) version 8 which was delivered product of Hp Pavilion Laptop (laptop + OS bundel pack).

I am trying to write 8 GB data cd by using able utility. please can some help me how to do this step by step..

Hi,

You have to use double layer DVD, but I don't think 8.5 GB (raw) would fit to a double layer DVD dics. My suggestion is to split the file in two and write to two normal DVD's.

Thanks for the reply . However I would like to write as one DVD  which is Rw +r DL ... . I have only 6.0 GB data.

so it would be great if you help me on this . I saw the manual you have sent . sorry i have already visted this but no luck on  rw +r dl topics.....

Hi,

The drive should be able to write DL dics, have you tried other brand ?

Brand means i hope the software... I have download infrarecoder to try . i hope you have not meaned DVD maker...
